Fall 2026 Classes

We are running two sessions in Fall 2026:

  • Session one — September 14-October 15, with glazing taking place the weekend of October 24-5.

  • Session two — October 19-December 4, with no classes Thanksgiving week.

Join our creative community for a hands-on pottery experience—perfect for total beginners and those seeking to expand their practice. Over 6 sessions, you’ll explore wheel throwing, trimming, handbuilding, and glazing in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.

~ 10 lbs of clay

~ Firing of all work completed within our schedule and guidelines

Want More Clay or Studio Time?

~ Additional clay available: $5/lb (up to 5 lbs)

~ Extra studio sessions: $30 for 3 hours (available on select weekday evenings and Sundays, TBA)

Schedule at a Glance: September 15-October 14 and again on October 24 -25

  • Tuesday mornings with Lisa Minetti, 10am-12:30pm

  • Tuesday evenings with Lisa Minetti, 6-8:30pm (SOLD OUT)

  • Wednesday evenings with Sofia Silverglass, 6-8:30pm

  • Thursday evenings with Emily Bly, 6-8:30pm

We aim to complete all work within this cycle so that you can take home everything you’ve made. We follow this schedule:

~ Sessions 1–4: Wheel throwing

~ Session 5: Trimming & handbuilding small items

~ Short break: October 20-22, no class – drying time before firing

~ Session 7: Glazing session ***

** In this cycle, we are trying something a little different. Instead of meeting weekly for 6 continuous weeks, we are meeting for 5 weeks and then taking a week break and coming back to glaze during weekend times the weekend of October 24th and 25. The studio will be open all weekend, with specific times TBA.

Finished pieces for the first fall session will be ready for pickup a a week or two after glazing weekend.

If you are continuing your practice with us, we’ll begin the second fall session the week of October 19, and return to our typical practice meeting for 5 weeks, then skipping class Thanksgiving week while work dries, and then finishing up with glazing the first week of December. We’ll open enrollments in late September.

Registration Details

~ Registration is nonrefundable and applies only to this session. 

~ We offer our extra wheel during regularly scheduled classes (Tuesday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings) if you need to miss a class. We’ll share details once class begins. 

~ Can’t attend after paying? You’re welcome to give or sell your spot to a friend. Email us, too — we sometimes have a waitlist, and are motivated to fill our seats with creative people.

Handbuilding Basics
